At the end of 2019, the LDC Group integrated a new company: Luché Tradition Volailles, located in Sarthe, and belonging to Groupe Casino. The site specialises in the processing, packaging and marketing of poultry products for the self-service departments of the Casino Group’s brands. The LDC group’s objective is to gradually develop its activities towards the manufacture of raw poultry products (intended for supermarkets and hypermarkets).
This merger will enable the two groups to combine their resources to consolidate a quality French poultry sector that complies with the best requirements in terms of animal welfare and enables them to innovate with environmentally-friendly products and packaging.
This acquisition is also part of the LDC group’s strategy to win back imports.
